The surgical pathology service carries out histopathological testing and diagnosis of organs and biopsies obtained through surgical interventions or in outpatient services. We have the latest equipment to process tissues and to obtain histological cuts of the best quality for histopathological diagnosis of disease.

The lab’s medical, histotechnical and administrative staff is certified and highly qualified. They participate in continuous medical education programs, in the Tissue Committee and Clinical Trials.

We have agreements with prestigious national and foreign hospitals to discuss cases with difficult diagnosis, particularly cancer cases.

We also perform LIQUID-BASED CERVICOVAGINAL CYTOLOGY. As well as In Situ Hybridization to identify the Human Papilloma Virus in addition to conventional and diverse cervicovaginal cytology.
